I'm currently on the hunt for the perfect gold and pearl/pink stone earrings to complete my wedding day look. I've been hunting for hours to no avail.
I need something delicate. Not too long. Not too loud. But still unique. Easy on the wallet. Preferably handmade or vintage.
Any suggestions?
Have a lovely weekend!

Eco-Bling: Necklaces
I was happy to receive a newlsetter in my inbox from White Apricot the other afternoon that was packed with information about some gorgeous eco-friendly jewelry. I am currently on the lookout for some eco-bling to incorporate into my wedding day look and wanted to share some of my favorite finds.
Alkemie Jewelry is located in California and run by a husband and wife team who create their beautiful accessories from 100% recycled materials. Their jewelry can be found for sale online at the EcoConscious Market.
Bird Mandala necklace $143
These eco-friendly necklaces are made by celebrity wardrobe stylist turned jewelry designer Nola Singer. She creates her one-of-a-kind pieces using vintage baubles (and oh are they lovely). Retail locations can be found at her site:

A Little Bit of Bling...
I hate the word "bling" but find it ever so appropriate when describing this gorgeous ring:
We finally picked up my wedding band from Gilt this past weekend! For those of you that don't know, it is the same place Nick purchased my Edwardian engagement ring- circa 1910 14k yellow gold shank with Old European Cut diamonds set in platinum. See the pic below:
They had to size the wedding band down to my itty-bitty 4.75 size ring finger, and I'm trying my hardest not to wear it while lounging around our apartment. It is by Granat Bros., circa 1938. 14K yellow gold with 12 diamonds set in milgrain platinum.
Vintage, simple, and oh-so-sparkly! (our camera does not do this justice)
Guilt-free never looked so good!
